When Disney acquired Fox, it opened the doors for all the Marvel projects of the latter to finally make the jump into the MCU and this is close to happening soon with the current slate of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Previous stars of the past adaptations are always faced with the question on whether they would reprise their roles and make their MCU debut soon. However, X-Men actress Alexandra Shipp who previously played Storm has a shocking response on the possibility of her joining the MCU.
The X-Men characters are slowly making their MCU debut through different films and series. There's Patrick Stewart who played Professor X/ Charles Xavier in the past and returned in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Kelsey Grammer who suited up as Beast/ Hank McCoy who appeared in The Marvels, and the much-awaited arrival of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine in Deadpool 3 this year. However, Storm actress Alexandra Shipp spoke with Entertainment Tonight where she was asked if she would reprise her X-Men role in the MCU, she said:
Alexandra Shipp made her X-Men debut on X-Men: Apocalypse where she played Storm/ Ororo Munroe who was first selected by Apocalypse as one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. She reprised her role in an uncredited cameo on Deadpool 2 and in Dark Phoenix. With her response, Shipp will not be back to reprise her role of Storm in the MCU.

Ororo Munroe, best known as Storm, is an Omega-Level mutant and is considered as one of the most powerful in all of the Marvel Universe. Storm, as her namesake, can control the weather and the atmosphere coming from a lineage of African witch-priestesses. Upon meeting Professor X, Storm was convinced to join the X-Men where she used her abilities to teach and educate the mutants who enrolled in Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters where kid mutants are taught how to control their powers and use it for the better. The Marvel Comics reveal that Storm became the wife of Black Panther, her childhood sweetheart, but was later separated.
In the MCU, Storm's story may change differently since Black Panther died with Nakia being his other half. However, it remains possible for Storm to be the love interest of Black Panther with the soft reboot of the character after the untimely death of Chadwick Boseman, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever just introduced the child of T'Challa and Nakia which could potentially be the next Black Panther, and possibly, the future husband of Storm in the MCU if she would appear in future projects. Currently, Storm has not made her MCU debut yet.
Many X-Men movies are available to stream on Disney Plus.
