Marvel Studios and Disney+ are eagerly preparing for the highly anticipated release of X-Men '97. These two firms have been hyping up the reboot of X-Men: The Animated Series, nearly three decades after its original run, and it’s proven a success with the talks surrounding the show. After the initial announcement of its two-episode premiere on Wednesday, March 20, the new poster has now unveiled its full release schedule, which includes a groundbreaking three-part finale, a first in the history of Marvel series.
X-Men '97 is set to make a significant mark in Marvel history with its three-part finale. This unprecedented move, a first for any Marvel series, will see the finale unfold over three episodes, a format never seen before in the studio’s shows. Not only that, but the revival series also boasts the highest episode count among Marvel projects, with a total of 10 episodes, surpassing the usual five to nine-episode range.
Like a comic book cover, the visual also reveals the full episode titles and release dates. The finale will be called Tolerance is Extinction. The first part is slated for release on May 1, followed by the second a week after on May 8, and the final episode to wrap up the first season on May 15.

What is X-Men '97 about?
X-Men '97 will pick up where the original X-Men: The Animated Series left off. After Professor X’s death, Storm and Wolverine will take his place and lead the X-Men by continuing his work. However, his death also posed a big danger for the mutants, as Magneto will return to try to take over Xavier Institute.
