After last week's shocking episode of X-Men '97 left fans reeling, bringing them to the edge of their seats, the hit animated series is getting viewers ready for its sixth episode. Today, Marvel Animation has released a sneak peek for X-Men '97 Episode 6, which is officially titled Lifedeath Part 2, which means that it will pick up the Storm plot from the fourth episode where she's working with Forge to hopefully get her powers back. However, the new clip titled Deathbird and Ronan, doesn't reveal any new footage of Storm's story, but it's an exciting introduction to one of Marvel's most iconic female villains. The clip features Vulcan, Ronan and the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, but the one who takes the spotlight is Deathbird (Cal'syee Neramani). In the Marvel comic books, Deathbird first appeared in Ms. Marvel #9 (September 1977), and she's part of a segment of the extraterrestrial Shi'ar race with a mutation. It looks like the first season of X-Men '97 still has plenty of surprises in the remaining episodes. Last week, Marvel released a special teaser trailer for the second half of the show, which teased an appearance of Captain America.

X-Men '97 Episode 6 will be released on Disney+ at 12:00 A.M. PT, 3:00 A.M. ET, and 7:00 A.M. GMT on Wednesday, April 17.
