Netflix is now gearing up for the much-awaited Wednesday Season 2. After several casting updates over the weeks, the streamer has released a cast reveal video featuring the iconic disembodied hand Thing. But aside from revealing the new season’s full cast, it also teases that “more torture awaits” as the production officially begins in Ireland.
You can see the video below:
The clip begins with Thing traveling through the hallway while pulling a cart full of scripts. It then throws the scripts to the doors of the new and returning cast members: Joy Sunday as Bianca; Joanna Lumley as Grandmama; Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia; Emma Myers as Enid; Steve Buscemi as Barry Dort; Billie Piper as Capri; and Thandiwe Newton as Dr. Fairburn.
But when he finally reaches the door of Jenna Ortega, who plays the titular character Wednesday, Thing waits for her to come out after snapping its fingers. “Hello, Thing,” she says. “More torture awaits.”
It also gives a glimpse of Wednesday Season 2 Episode 1 title, Here We Woe Again, written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar and directed by Tim Burton. The announcement of the new season’s production then appears, followed by the list of its full cast.
