What is Tougen Anki about?
The dark fantasy anime is based on the Tougen Anki: Dark Demon of Paradise manga series written and illustrated by Yura Urushibara. The series has been serialized in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion magazine since June 2020, with the 20th collected volume set scheduled to release in Japan on May 8. There are already 3 million copies in circulation, and Yen Press is set to release an English-translated version of the manga starting on September 17.

"You inherit the blood of an Oni (demon)..." The bloodlines of "Oni" and "Momotaro" have been passed down among certain humans for generations.
