Henry Cavill's unexpected departure from The Witcher still has people shocked. However, there have been speculations that the exit had a lot to do with disagreements with showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and producers involved in the series.
So is it true that Henry Cavill didn't get along with the other people working on the Netflix show? Anya Chalotra has just addressed the rumors about the conflicts between cast and crew.
Chalotra, who plays Yennefer of Vengerberg in The Witcher, recently spoke to The Telegraph to promote the show's third season. When asked whether Cavill and Hissrich didn't agree on the set, she pointed out that the cast and crew focused on what is important for them as performers.
"When we are all on set, we’re dedicated to playing these characters and bringing them to life in the best way. And that is exactly what I felt every day from Henry," Chalotra said of her former cast mate.

It's no secret that Henry Cavill had always been passionate about The Witcher and would have been more than willing to stick around if he could. However, the Justice League star's initial statement regarding his departure made it clear that his journey as Geralt of Rivia is over and it's time to introduce somebody else to play the White Wolf as he pursues new projects in the future.
Although Cavill will not be back for the show's fourth season, fans will still get to see him as Geralt in The Witcher Season 3. The third season will be the final one for Cavill before Liam Hemsworth takes over his role.
The first volume of The Witcher Season 3 premiered on Netflix last month and consists of five episodes. Meanwhile, Volume 2 of the third season is already expected to have three more episodes which will all begin streaming on July 27, 2023.
