Go Min-si makes everyone’s blood boil after playing as Lee Eun-yu, a stubborn and spoiled brat sister of Lee Do-hyun’s Lee Eun-hyuk, in the first season of the apocalyptic K-drama Sweet Home. However, the character has redeemed herself after showing her resilience and relentless love for her brother and the people around her in the second and final seasons of the show. Now, Min-si is back in the new Netflix K-drama, The Frog, and its official teaser features a different side of the actress, which was not seen in Sweet Home Season 3.

The Frog teaser shows a beautiful landscape where the veteran actor Kim Yoon-seok appears. Min-si suddenly arrives at his place as an unexpected guest, which surprises Yoon-seok. However, as he welcomes Min-si into his pension home, little does he know that his peaceful life is about to change. Yoon-seok sees his guest acting up in the pool and later breaks a frame that holds the picture of his family in the middle of his sleep. He also sees blood as he traces the mirror.
As Min-si’s weird behavior confuses Yoon-seok, he asks his friend if he ever had a guest who cleaned up after themselves. Surprisingly, things start to turn for the worse when Min-si hits a man’s head with a fire extinguisher. As blood splatters on Seon-hook, he goes running out of his house to escape Min-si.
Min-si continuously shows her erratic behavior by pouring gasoline on a pile of clothes and starting a fire. However, it looks like she isn’t an unknown guest after Yoon-seok asks why she returns. He seems to begin recalling an event after saying that no one was around to hear after a tree fell in the forest. As a series of sinister events start, from a corpse being sealed in a body bag to a huge explosion, Min-si calls out for Yoon-seok.

The new k-drama is directed by Mo Wan-il, who’s behind the success of World of the Married, and produced by SSL and Studio Flow. Its original Korean title translates to English as In the Woods with No One.
What is The Frog about?
The Frog follows the story of two men, Young-ha and Sang-joon, who run a holiday cottage in a rural area. However, the two operate the place in different years. Young-ha oversaw the pension home in 2021, while Sang-joon handled it in 2000. By the looks of it, something sinister has happened in the area in between those years.
