Kadokawa's anime YouTube channel has released the opening video for The Eminence in Shadow Season 2's opening, following the premiere of its first episode, which is now available to stream on HIDIVE for viewers outside of Japan. Yesterday, a trailer featuring the preview of its ending theme song Polaris in the Night performed by voice actresses Maaya Uchida, Mayu Minami, Ikumi Hasegawa, and Ryoko Maekawa was released yesterday. A special Shadow trailer was also released, featuring the protagonist's best moments so far. The new anime season is directed by Kazuya Nakanishi at studio Nexus.
The Eminence in Shadow Season 1 premiered on October 5, 2022, and it consisted of 20 episodes which aired in 2 cours. Season 2 is confirmed to have 12 episodes.
What is The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 about?
The isekai anime is based on Daisuke Aizawa's Japanese light series of the same title (Japanese: 陰の実力者になりたくて!, Hepburn: Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!).
