The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 is one of the most popular isekai anime shows currently airing right now, and the production team just teased what to expect from the ninth episode of the new season. The official website of the anime has released a couple of trailers, preview stills, and synopsis for Season 2 Episode 9, which is scheduled to air on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
As the previews reveal, the Shadow Garden will finally commence its operations at the Orianna Kingdom. The Orianna Kingdom arc is the climax of Season 2 and it's the continuation of Rose Orianna's conflict against the Cult of Diablos from the final episode of Season 1.

Studio Nexus is producing the animation of The Eminence in Shadow Season 2, with Kazuya Nakanashi as the director. Season 2 premiered on October 4, 2023, and main staff from the first season, which aired in 2022, returned for the new episodes.

The anime is based on The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) Japanese light novel series by Daisuke Aizawa. Enterbrain has been publishing the series with Tozai's illustrations since 2018, and there are currently 5 volumes in English. The light novels were licensed in English by Yen Press, and the anime is currently will be entering the fourth volume of the series, and you can read its synopsis here:
