The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 is one of the most popular isekai anime shows currently airing right now, and the production team just teased what to expect from the tenth episode of the new season. The official website of the anime has released a couple of trailers, preview stills, and synopsis for Season 2 Episode 11, which is scheduled to air on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
The anime recently kicked off The Orianna Kingdom arc, the climax of Season 2, two episodes ago, continuing Rose Orianna's conflict against the Cult of Diablos from the Season 1 finale, and it looks like Cid (Shadow) has, as Alpha teased in the preview, "other plans from the beginning", and that "perhaps he intends to end it all at Princess Rose's wedding."

What is The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 about?
The anime is based on The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) Japanese light novel series by Daisuke Aizawa. Enterbrain has been publishing the series with Tozai's illustrations since 2018, and there are currently 5 volumes in English. The light novels were licensed in English by Yen Press, and the anime is currently will be entering the fourth volume of the series, and you can read its synopsis here:
The specter of war hangs thick in the air of the Oriana Kingdom, where Princess Rose is expected to wed Duke Perv. This supposed marriage cannot and will not stand, though, as it would throw a major wrench in a certain shadowbroker’s plans. Outside of Japan, The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 will be available to stream on HIDIVE, just like the first season of the anime. The second season is confirmed to have 12 episodes total (the first season had 20 episodes), and the first ten episodes of the second season are now available to stream. Episode 11 will be available to stream this Wednesday.
