Fans are about to see a different Kim Hyun-joo in the upcoming Netflix K-drama, The Bequeathed. After being a courageous lawyer in Hellbound, she’s about to play Yoon Seo-ha, a confused heir to her uncle’s mysterious family gravesite. To see more about her character, the streamer has dropped a new trailer, showing Hyun-joo’s life in danger after accepting her inheritance. You can check the preview below:

The Bequeathed trailer begins with Seo-ha receiving a call about the inheritance her uncle has left her despite not remembering having this relative. As the investigation into the death of her uncle begins, she’s said to be the sole inheritor of the property. This confuses Seo-ha, and everything turns more baffling when she meets her half-brother, Kim Young-ho (Ryoo Kyung-soo), who wants a part of the inheritance.

She then receives an offer from a man who wants to handle the “pesky burial ground” for her. But as things get more puzzling at the gravesite, with more deaths and traces of blood seen, Young-ho accuses her of killing people around to own the place by herself. This puts Seo-ha’s life in danger as she sees blood-drawn images on her door.

“I warned her that she must stop now,” Young-ho says. He then threatens her to give the family burial ground to him, for it’s the only way that she can continuously live.

Meanwhile, Netflix has also dropped a new key visual for The Bequeathed. It features the eerie vibes of the series, featuring the four main characters, Kim Hyun-joo, Ryoo Kyung-soo, Park Hee-soon, and Park Byung-eun, set against the backdrop of the gravesite.
