Lee Eun-yoo’s search for his brother, Lee Eun-hyuk, will finally be over in Sweet Home Season 3. After being mostly away from the second season, Eun-hyuk’s return is teased in the final episode, setting up the stage for a different kind of Do-hyun fans are about to see. And to tease what’s to come, Netflix has dropped the first look at Song Kang and Lee Do-hyun together, along with Go Min-si, as they seem to lead the new humanity after the monsterization.
Netflix has announced a slew of new K-content coming to the streamer this year, including Sweet Home Season 3. Aside from the preview, the streamer has also revealed when the new season will be out—the second quarter of the year—and its official synopsis.
The stills in question show a bloody Eun-hyuk walking side by side with his sister, Eun-yoo, and Cha Hyun-su. By the looks of it, the three are ready to fight against the government, which terrorizes the infected, and the special infectees like Hyun-su, who can contain the monster curse in him.
A solo preview of Song Kang is also revealed as he seemingly looks back at the past and is ready to start anew. A face-off between Seo Yi-kyeong and Jung Wooi-myung is seen as the latter tries to stop Yi-kyeong from stabbing him in the face. This seems to show that after Yi-kyeong’s monsterization in the previous season, she, too, will be a special infectee like Hyun-su.
