The fight against the monsters continues in Sweet Home Season 2. But things have become much worse now that the survivors are out of Green Home. And to give fans another glimpse of the chaotic world they’re in, Netflix has dropped a new trailer, giving a warning not to trust anyone. As the fight for survival continues, it’s hard to tell who remains an ally, an enemy, a monster, and a human. You can see the preview below:

The preview begins with Lee Eun Yoo (Go Min Si) in the middle of the chaos as people around her start to run. “Driven by greed, we destroy other species as we see fit and drive them to extinction,” the narrator says.

As a pool of dead soldiers in the rumbles is revealed, a man's voice claims, “Mankind is a virus, and the monsters are the vaccines.” A woman then says nobody knows when, how, or who will turn into a monster next, as Eun Yoo has her hand marked with “human” in the survivor camp. “Do not trust anyone,” another man says while a montage of scenes featuring the soldiers and the survivors is revealed.

Sergeant Tak In Hwan (Yoo Oh Sung) then appears as his people point their guns at the survivors, claiming there’s only one way they can protect this place. As Song Kang’s Cha Hyun Soo takes the scene with blood all over his face and body and a metal choker on his neck, the narrator asks, “Are you the savior who can end all this?”

From there, Pyeon Sang Wook (Lee Jin Wook) comes into sight, asking Hyun Soo if it’s wrong to be a monster and if he thinks they will accept him as a human being. As Hyun Soo sees the chaos in the outside world, he can’t help but cry as Sang Wook tries to make him see how people treat them badly.

Sweet Home Season 2 Cast Talks About Their Characters

In a talk with Naver translated by Soompi, Song Kang revealed he had thought deeply about how he could portray Hyun Soo more maturely. Lee Jin Wook then teased that fans are about to see a different Sang Wook, describing his character as someone who almost has no humanity this time.

Lee Si Young, who plays the role of Seo Yi Kyung, added that from being alone, she has become a passionate mother while being caught up in the middle of “life’s joys and sorrows.” In addition, Go Min Si claimed that though her character, Eun Yoo, has become much colder, she’s also warmer. She also revealed the reason behind Eun Yoo’s struggle: the fear of losing the people she loves.
