Star Wars recently revealed three brand-new posters for Star Wars: Ahsoka. The posters feature the live-action versions of the Clone Wars characters, Captain Rex (Temuera Morrison), Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen), and Ahsoka Tano (Ariana Greenblatt). Ahsoka premiered on August 22 and since then five episodes have been released, each one being even more exciting than the previous one.
The latest Ahsoka episode, Episode 5, left fans questioning a lot of things and wondering about the next episode. Anakin Skywalker’s sudden return to the Star Wars franchise has left fans shaken and completely off-guard and the latest episode has confused them even more, with many thinking what what's to come next. What happened in Star Wars: Ahsoka Episode 5?
The showrunner of Ahsoka, Dave Filoni, has a huge gift waiting for fans who have watched the Clone Wars in the upcoming episode of the Disney+ series. In Episode 4, Ahsoka somehow landed in the World Between Worlds while fighting with Baylan Skoll. Skoll pushes Ahsoka off a cliff, and when she wakes up she finds herself injured and lost. However, that’s not all for that is where we come across the biggest shock of the series so far in the form of Anakin Skywalker.
In Episode 5, Ahsoka remembers all of her dire memories from her life and of battling against her ex-master. Those memories consist of one of her first battles with Anakin when the two fought after meeting each other in the first Clone Wars animated movie, which began the entire series. Another memory was the “Seige of Mandalore” that Ahsoka fought with Captain Rex, Bo-Katan Kryze, as well as her whole regiment of clone soldiers.
That amazing fight happened during the final episodes of Clone Wars, which took place sometime around the fall of Anakin Skywalker during Revenge of the Sith. Since Ahsoka and Anakin never saw each other after that, the memories feel much more bitter and hit differently.
Temuera Morrison’s History In the Star Wars Franchise
Temuera Morrison has been having his fair share of fun doing Easter egg cameos in several different Star Wars projects. The actor played Jango Fett, who eventually became the DNA foundation for the entire clone army of the Republic, as well as the father to his son, Boba Fett.
On top of his small appearance in Ahsoka, Morrison has also shown up in The Mandalorian, Star Wars: Vision anthology, Obi-Wan, and The Book of Boba Fett. He has also voiced different characters in multiple Star Wars games, including Star Wars: Battlefront, Republic Commando, and Empire at War.
Star Wars: Ahsoka Episodes 1-5 are available to stream on Disney+, with Episode 6 set to release on Tuesday/Wednesday.
