The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songs and Snakes star Rachel Zegler recently responded to a fan's inquiry about her stance on the Reylo romance in Star Wars, and her candid response generated attention. Interestingly, it looks like Zegler isn't a huge fan of the ship following Rey and Kylo Ren's romantic relationship.

In a direct message exchange with a fan, Zegler clarified that she is not a supporter of Reylo (via X). When the fan pointed out that they think the Shazam! Fury of the Gods star is a "reylo", Zegler quickly responded, "she isn't."

The straightforward response from the actress aligned with her past social media posts expressing her belief that the primary romance in the Star Wars sequel trilogy should have been between Finn and Poe Dameron. Zegler had previously shared her enthusiasm for the Finn-Poe ship on her X (formerly Twitter) account during the lead-up to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in 2019.

The Reylo romance, involving characters portrayed by Daisy Ridley (Rey) and Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), was a divisive aspect of the sequel trilogy. The culmination of this romance was confirmed in The Rise of Skywalker, where Rey and Kylo Ren share a kiss before Ben Solo's sacrifice. The aftermath of these events left Rey's character with an uncertain future, but Ridley is set to reprise her role in an upcoming Star Wars project.

Rey might return without Kylo Ren

Daisy Ridley's return to the Star Wars universe was confirmed for a New Jedi Order movie set fifteen years after the events of the sequel trilogy. The film will explore Rey's journey as she attempts to rebuild the Jedi Order. While specific story details are limited, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy indicated that the narrative would focus on Rey's challenges in restoring the Jedi to their former glory.

The possibility of Adam Driver returning to the franchise remains unclear, leaving fans to speculate on whether the Reylo romance will continue, possibly through resurrection or a Ben Solo Force ghost. The candid revelation from Rachel Zegler about her stance on Reylo added a personal touch to the ongoing discussions within the Star Wars community, showcasing the diversity of opinions among fans and even within the entertainment industry.
