Star Wars fans have been buzzing with anticipation as Ahsoka appears to hint at Sabine Wren's Jedi status as the Disney+ series prepares for its season finale.
Lucasfilm's latest series has been diligently providing fans with updates on the whereabouts of the Star Wars Rebels characters, offering insight into their lives since the conclusion of that series over five years ago. While creator Dave Filoni has been filling in some of the narrative gaps, it has simultaneously given rise to intriguing questions, particularly concerning Sabine Wren's potential force-sensitivity. The ongoing debate surrounding her Jedi status has been fueled by both supporting and opposing evidence.
But do we finally have proof of Sabine's true status? Star Wars has seemingly revealed the truth with a recap of Ahsoka Episode 7 that describes the latter half of Dreams and Madness.

"Following two climactic rematches — Sabine Wren with Ezra Bridger versus Shin Hati, and Ahsoka Tano against Baylan Skoll— our three Jedi heroes are finally together. Ezra’s joyous statement, a realization that he is finally heading back home, is the payoff of a thread that started with the finale of Star Wars Rebels. It’s hard not to smile along with him."
It's an awesome confirmation considering that the series kept things ambiguous while also teasing at Sabine's true status. Luckily, we can now rest assured that she is a real Jedi despite her disability to use the Force when she needs it the most.
Will Sabine Wren Finally Use the Force in Ahsoka Episode 8?
At this point, we have yet to see Sabine wield the Force in the Ahsoka season finale. However, the stakes are high for the Jedi as they need to find a way to leave Peridea while needing to stop Grand Admiral Thrawn from leaving. We're expecting a huge battle ahead and there is little doubt that everyone will be joining the action. With that in mind, fans are hoping Sabine will finally find her connection to the Force and ensure their victory.
Ahsoka Episode 8 has not yet been given an official title. The Rick Famuyiwa-directed final episode of the Star Wars series will premiere on Disney+ on October 3, 2023.
