There is little doubt that Ahsoka is clearly a series about the former Jedi but the new Disney+ show also gave us a glimpse at major events in the Star Wars Universe. For instance, Episode 5 made Ahsoka Tano and the viewers relive traumatizing events like the Battle of Ryloth and the Siege of Mandalore. So it's no surprise that fans are now demanding a live-action Star Wars: The Clone Wars series that would lead up to the original film series.
In Ahsoka Episode 5, Ahsoka was forced to live through some truly painful moments in her life, including a huge mistake that led to the death of her troops during the Clone Wars. She also got to fight the Mandalorian super commando during the Siege of Mandalore before facing off against her former Master in an effort to leave the World Between Worlds.
Sure, these were all part of Ahsoka's journey but the masterful adaptation of major Clone Wars events had people wishing for a live-action adaptation of the beloved animated show.
At this point, it is unclear whether Lucasfilm and Disney are even considering a live-action Clone Wars project. After all, that story has already been told in the animated series and it seems like too much to revisit those stories (let's be honest, we don't really want to see Duchess Satine's death in 4K). Still, it was amazing to see some of the show's greatest moments brought to life yet again in Ahsoka.
What happens in Ahsoka Episode 6?
The series is closing in on its last few episodes so there is little doubt that things will happen faster in Episode 6. We could finally see Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger's live-action debut and maybe a rematch between Ahsoka and Baylan Skoll. With that in mind, we can't wait for next week's episode.
Ahsoka Episode 5 is now streaming on Disney+. The sixth episode is currently scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
