The official trailer for Ahsoka is finally here and the latest teaser for the highly anticipated Star Wars series just dropped the big one. It has just been confirmed that Ahsoka Tano eventually took an apprentice. In addition to that, it's someone who already played a significant role in Star Wars Rebels.

With only over a month away from its premiere, Star Wars: Ahsoka has been dropping more updates with increased frequency. The latest update is the official trailer which finally features more footage of the mysterious Baylan Skoll and his apprentice Shin Hati. In addition to that, we got more dialogue from Hera Syndulla, who clearly doesn't want to fight another war and pushes Ahsoka to get help from a former ally.

One of the best things about the new trailer is Sabine Wren revealing more about what happened to her after the events in Star Wars Rebels. In a tense exchange with Ahsoka, Sabine points out that the Togruta "never made it easy for" her and then calls Ahsoka "Master."

It's an awesome reveal considering that we never got to see what happened to Ahsoka and Sabine after the events in Star Wars Rebels. Now we know that Ahsoka trained Sabine to become a Jedi and should explain how the latter is so comfortable using the green lightsaber in the previous teasers.

Sabine Wren's revelation isn't the only big thing we got in the Ahsoka trailer. We also got our first look at Lars Mikkelsen's face as Grand Admiral Thrawn. Mikkelsen previously provided the voice of Thrawn in the animated shows and despite vehemently denying his involvement in the upcoming series, has been confirmed to portray the live-action version of the character.

Ahsoka will consist of eight exciting episodes. The Star Wars series will finally premiere on Disney+ on August 23, 2023.
