There is little doubt that fans truly enjoyed Hayden Christensen's return to the Star Wars Universe earlier this month. But is it possible that Anakin Skywalker will make another appearance in Disney+'s Ahsoka series? The clues may lie in previously released footage.
Ahsoka has been a source of delight for Star Wars enthusiasts, particularly in Chapter 5: Master and Apprentice where Hayden Christensen returned as Anakin Skywalker to impart one more lesson to Tano. The fan response to Christensen's reprisal of Skywalker was overwhelmingly positive, leaving many to wonder if there's a possibility of another guest appearance by Anakin.
Interestingly, a teaser for the Star Wars series may have confirmed that Christensen is due for another appearance. A Reddit post, which features a compilation of scenes from previously released teasers that haven't appeared in the episodes yet, points out that Anakin's final lesson to Ahsoka Tano has not yet aired in the show. The original speech was featured in the Ahsoka Force trailer.
“In this war, you’ll face more than just droids. As your master, it is my responsibility to prepare you. I won’t always be there to look out for you. Don’t be afraid. Trust your instincts. I know you can do this, Ahsoka,” Anakin says in the video.
It's an interesting reminder considering that the teaser was Ahsoka's first confirmation of Christensen's involvement in the show. The line should have been said in Episode 5 but we have yet to hear Anakin say this on the show. Is it possible that Christensen will be back in the final episode? Or has Star Wars decided not to add such an important speech? We'll find out within the next two weeks.
