The Forger family will finally return to the small screen in a couple of days, and the anime has already dropped the preview stills for the first episode. As it looks like Loid and Yor will be going on a date, Anya, who’s probably left at home, seemingly tails her parents to investigate.

Based on the Japanese manga of the same name by Tatsuya Endo, the series has reached new heights with its different iterations. Aside from being the best-selling manga with 31 million copies in circulation, it has also been adapted into an anime and anime movie. After the success of the first season, adapted by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, in 2022, Spy x Family Season 2 will finally begin.

The anime’s official website has released the new preview stills for Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 1. After seeing Anya and Loid on a couch, the next still features a wounded Yor as she talks to someone on the phone while a couple of people seem to be lying dead at the back. The next preview shows the surprise family matriarch while Loid appears to be confessing something.

An elegant limousine car is then seen as Loid extends his hand. So, where is Anya? The next previews see her seemingly hiding, wearing sunglasses and covering her face with a paper with Franklin.

What will happen in Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 1?

So far, the anime hasn’t released the official synopsis for Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 1, though it’s titled Let’s Fly with Chichi. But based on the previews, the premiere episode will see Yor on a mission, while she and Loid may also go on a date. And as the two seemingly go out and about without their daughter, the child follows them to see what they’re up to.

These stills are also featured in the official trailer for Spy x Family Season 2. In the preview, Loid asks Yor to go on a date, which surprises the latter. From there, they ride on a limousine, eat a fancy dinner, go on a boat ride, and watch a concert. Anya then tells Franklin that she wants to tail her "mama and papa," so she hides in disguise.
