Single’s Inferno Season 4 is coming to Netflix this year. On January 23, 2024, the American streaming giant announced the renewal via social media. The announcement comes just two weeks after the finale of Season 3, which remained in Netflix's Top 10 for Non-English TV for five weeks.

The Season 3 finale premiered on Netflix on January 9, 2024, concluding some of the most heated love triangles in the series yet. The most recent installment of the popular dating reality show also saw the show's fundamental concept change. Hot young singles were thrown on a secluded island called "Inferno" and forced to hide their ages and employment from their love partners.

If they find a match, competitors can pair up and go on a lavish date in "Paradise," with the intention of eventually dating in the real world. Single’s Inferno features the slow-burn romances that K-drama fans enjoy and the entertaining obstacles and charming actors that make for great reality TV.

With the dating reality show renewed for another installment, this will be the first Korean Netflix variety series to be renewed for four seasons. As fans await details, here is everything we know so far about the upcoming Single’s Inferno Season 4.

Producer Kim Jae Won vowed to fans that the imminent Single’s Inferno Season 4 will be better than the previous installments. As per Marie Claire, he stated:

We will continue to do our best and make sure Season 4 is even more entertaining for you by paying closer attention to the fans’ feedback on Season 3, both positive and negative.

Also, the dating reality show producers told Korea JoongAng Daily ahead of the renewal on January 11, 2024, that Single’s Inferno Season 4 would most likely feature another surprise format shift. Co-producer Kim Jung-Hyun said:

There are so many dating reality shows out there these days, but I think that Single’s Inferno has made a mark on the genre, and it could continue for many more seasons if we keep on striving to differentiate it and attempt new themes and tones. What the next season would look like would be decided if and once it’s greenlit. At the moment, we are just so thankful for all the love this third season has received.

One of the most pressing questions for fans is if the show would add another new member to its host panel, which consists of people who react to the show and provide their real-time observations on situations. Seasons 1 and 2 of the show were hosted by comedian Hong Jin-kyung, actress Lee Da-hee, Super Junior member Kyuhyun, and rapper Hanhae, with Season 2 contestant Dex (also known as Kim Jin-young) returning for Season 3.

Following his debut on the show, Dex went on to appear in other shows, including Netflix's own Zombieverse and even received an award as a rookie entertainer. When he joined Season 3, his expertise as an Inferno member provided a refreshing change to the host interludes.

Whether another show alum joins the panel is likely to be determined by their performance outside of the program. Still, many fans want Dex to return in Single’s Inferno Season 4 and Yun Ha-jeong from Season 3 to join the panel.
