Netflix and tvN recently revealed the release date for Queen of Tears, along with a few photographs and a teaser trailer. In the photos, Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won appear stylish and in love. The teaser shows Kim Soo-Hyun's Baek Hyun-Woo confessing his emotions for his wife, Hong Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won). The video begins with Hyun-Woo asking, "Why are you pretty?" while highlighting Hae-In's beauty. Furthermore, viewers can hear him counting and his heart beating as Hae-In approaches.
The following scene depicts the change of the heartfelt love moments into a nagging husband-wife conflict. In a threatening tone, Hae-In asks her husband, Hyun-Woo, why he isn't responding and informs him that he is lagging behind.
It also shows him running and shouting in frustration as he says, "I wondered why my heart was racing. It was because I was scared," bringing levity to their marital bond. The trailer concludes with Kim Ji-Won's character's nasty laugh.
