Her new boss is a murder suspect, and he has no idea his secretary is the detective sent to catch him. tvN has released a highlight teaser for Love in Disguise, offering the first real look at the cat-and-mouse dynamic between Yim Si-wan and Seol In-ah ahead of next week's premiere.
Love in Disguise is a romance thriller about Yoon Yi-jun (Yim Si-wan), an arrogant third-generation chaebol heir to the Taegang Group who becomes a murder suspect, and Kang Jae-hee (Seol In-ah), a former special forces officer turned detective who goes undercover as his personal secretary to investigate him.
The teaser opens on Yoon Yi-jun's sensitive, meticulous demeanor — and his nerve. Even while being questioned by police on suspicion of murder, he casually asks, "Do you really think I killed someone?"
Kang Jae-hee's way in is a gamble. Furious at his arrogance, she spots that the personal secretary posting is open exclusively to men and seizes it, turning the fact that people often mistake her for a man into her cover. Landing the job is only the first hurdle: Yoon Yi-jun trusts no one, tests her constantly, and barks for her to redo anything that falls short of his exacting standards — until she resorts to sweet-talking the very suspect she is investigating.

The suspicion runs both ways. Jae-hee becomes convinced something is happening inside the house that she does not know about, while Yi-jun eventually turns on her with a sharp demand: "Who are you? Who sent you?" The teaser also introduces Kim Jung-hyun as Taegang Group lawyer Kim Si-hyun and Yeonwoo as Lee Hye-jung, secretary to the group's chairman.
Directed by Park Dan-hee, the 12-episode series is based on the web novel Why Don't You Know She's a Woman? — a gender-bender setup that has already drawn comparisons to Coffee Prince's Go Eun-chan, nearly 20 years on. Even the Korean title plays the double game: My Guilty Human sounds like a crime label, but in Korean slang it doubles as a flirtatious compliment.
The highlight teaser builds on a run of promos that have leaned into the disguise comedy as hard as the thriller. In one earlier teaser, Yi-jun tests his new secretary by deliberately dropping an expensive watch, only for Jae-hee to catch it effortlessly; in another, his confident confession is cut short when she reminds him that, as far as he knows, she is a man right now. For Yim Si-wan, the role follows his turn in Squid Game, while Seol In-ah — known for Business Proposal and Oh My Ghost Clients — takes on the physical disguise role that has driven much of the pre-premiere buzz.
Love in Disguise premieres October 19 at 8:50 p.m. KST on tvN, airing Mondays and Tuesdays. The drama will also stream internationally on Prime Video.
