Himura Kenshin’s journey continues in the revived Rurouni Kenshin. As the anime is now on the second part of the Tokyo Arc, it has revealed the new cast members joining the series, along with a new trailer and preview still. Not only that but major Episode 8 details are also unveiled.
Rurouni Kenshin is based on the manga series of the same name by Nobuhiro Watsuki. It’s the second anime adaptation of the manga after the original series in 1996-1998. The new series is directed by Hideyo Yamamoto, animated by Liden Films, and premiered in July 2023. Now, Rurouni Kenshin Episode 8 is coming.
The anime’s official website has dropped the new trailer and preview still for the beginning of Tokyo Arc’s second part. The previews feature the new characters fans are about to meet, led by the genius young Okashira, Aoshi. You can see the trailer below:

Rurouni Kenshin Episode 8 will be titled Escape Beauty. Here, Sanosuke’s friend has died because of an opium overdose. However, considering this drug is prohibited and expensive, it’s a surprise how Sanosuke’s pal managed to obtain it.
