The wait for GTA 6 is getting more and more difficult with each passing day. Fans were given false hopes time and time again, each time being met with disappointment. There was a lot of hype in the last days of October, and everyone was sure that Rockstar would give us at least something, but they were once again met with more frustration and uncertainty.

So, continuing the search for a GTA 6 release date, fans have been keeping a close eye on Rockstar Games’ activities. So you can be sure that when the company creates a new job listing, the Grand Theft Auto community will get hyped about it.

Rockstar’s LA Job Listings Might Be Related To GTA 6

Rockstar Universe recently spotted that Rockstar Games have created multiple job listings for their new LA studios. These listings include a casting associate, a casting assistant, and an associate writer for pedestrian and ambient dialogue. The job description for the Associate Writer is:

Rockstar is on the lookout for a talented writer to work on dialogue for our ambient population. This is an entry-level role that will have you working alongside other writers to create exciting, interactive encounters with our games’ pedestrians.

Additionally, the requirements for the Casting Associate are:

Rockstar is looking for a Los Angeles-based Casting Associate to support our Casting Production. This role will focus on organizing writing requests, communicating with agents and directors, and meeting tight deadlines. Other responsibilities include listening to audio auditions and making selects, writing mock audition sides, and problem-solving last-minute casting issues with skill and composure.

It looks like these vacancies might be for an open-world game with pedestrians, and hence GTA 6, but Rockstar Universe claims this to be highly unlikely. This is because we already know that Rockstar has been working on GTA 6 for quite some time, owing to a leak in 2022 that showed GTA 6 footage, which was also officially confirmed by Rockstar Games. It wouldn’t make much sense for Rockstar Games to start working on ambient sound this far into development.

It might also be possible that Rockstar Games is hiring new individuals to fill new vacancies; after all, the LA studio has just opened. We do know, however, that they have been working on GTA 6 since there was also a reported leak about the game’s logo.
