The anime adaptation Reiji Miyajima’s (Rent a Girlfriend) The Shiunji Family Children manga series has found an animation studio: Doga Kobo. The anime project was officially announced in February 2024, and the official X account of the anime teased that more information will be revealed soon.
Doga Kobo is prolific animation studio behind some of the major anime productions in recent years, including the hit supernatural mystery series Oshi no Ko, the 2020 fantasy comedy anime Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle, and this season's Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, among many others.
Prior to Doga Kobo's latest update, Japanese media giant Kadokawa announced the acquisition of the studio earlier this month. What is The Shiunji Family Children about?
The Shiunji Family Children manga series Reiji Miyajima has been serialized in Hakusensha's manga magazine Young Animal since February 2022. At the time of this writing, three volumes have been published in Japan. Yen Press, which licensed the manga in English, shared a description for the first volume of the romantic comedy series:

Miyajima's other franchise recently got an update: Earlier this month, it was announced that the Rent-a-Girlfriend anime has been renewed for a fourth season, and that it will adapt the Hawaii Trip arc of his manga series.
