While we still wait for Rockstar Games to reveal some information on the Grand Theft Auto 6 front, the fans have plenty of leakers and insiders to keep them busy in the meantime. Ever since the game was announced back in February 2022, the developers have been keeping the title a secret, but that didn’t stop the information from pouring out onto the internet.
During the past couple of weeks, GTA fans were busy compiling all of the leaks in a massive document that combines all the information regarding GTA 6 in one place. Most of the details in the document are based on the huge amount of leaks that were revealed last year in September. During that time, the developers were hit by a serious cyber attack, and an hour’s worth of development footage was stolen, along with source code and screenshots.
On the basis of that footage, players made a huge GTA 6 map design, which they believe might feature more than 100 unique locations. However, now an insider claims that the map might not be as big as what the game’s fans expected it to be. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve heard so much about the Grand Theft Auto 6 map and what it might look like.
The much-anticipated game might be set in Vice City, even though some leaks suggest that players could move to Cuba or back to the 1980s through flashbacks. The popular industry leaker, Tom Henderson, has asked fans to lower their expectations when it comes to the game’s map. As it turns out, Henderson actually issued the same warning nearly two years ago, but this has been gaining attention a lot recently since nearly everything the leaker said back then has somewhat turned out to be true.
Previously, Henderson also teased several characters, including a female hacker, the return of Vice City, a 2024/2025 release window, and a revised GTA Online that'll change over time with live events. Most of that information has now been confirmed through several other leaks, which is why many fans are getting concerned about Henderson’s revelation claiming that the GTA 6 map might not be as huge as one might expect it to be. We’ll just have to wait for the game’s release and see the size of the map for ourselves since Rockstar refuses to reveal anything!
