The next generation of Pokémon anime, Pokémon Horizons: The Series, is coming to Netflix next year. After its release in Japan in April 2023, international fans will now have a chance to see the new protagonists, Liko and Roy, as they explore the Pokémon world with the Rising Volt Tacklers. After a long wait, The Pokémon Company finally revealed when this new series will be released in the U.S.: February 23, 2024.
Originally known in Japan as Pocket Monsters: Liko and Roy's Departure and Pocket Monsters: The Sparkling of Terapagos, Pokémon Horizons: The Series is the 26th and current season of the long-running Pokémon animated series. However, the anime, directed by Saori Den, no longer credits CoroCoro Comic and Gakushu Yochien as publishers and Junichi Masuda and Ken Sugimori as creators.
