The fall season has officially begun, so Halloween is just around the corner. So, what’s the best way to enjoy this spooky time but to watch the scariest and the most spine-tingling horror movies in the comfort of your home? Thankfully, Netflix has unveiled its new scary movies you can enjoy watching this Halloween 2023.

Netflix has the best movies for every season. So, are you ready to feel the chills down your spine while trying to hide inside your comfiest blanket?

Sister Death

There are several titles fans are waiting to see this year, including Sister Death, the prequel to the viral hit Veronica. This Spanish horror tells the story of a young novice named Narcisa, who has supernatural powers. After the war in Spain, she arrives at a school for girls, a former convent, to become a teacher, but a series of strange and disturbing events start to happen. Sister Death will be released on October 27.

In post-war Spain, Narcisa, a young novice with supernatural powers, arrives at a former convent, now a school for girls, to become a teacher. As the days go by, the strange events and increasingly disturbing situations that torment her will eventually lead her to unravel the terrible skein of secrets that surround the convent and haunt its inhabitants.

Flashback

Next is the horror short Flashback by Jed Shepherd. Despite running for only 16 minutes, this short flick never lacks a chilling story to tell. It features a yoga teacher whose life flashes before her eyes when a deadly home invasion occurs. Flashback will hit Netflix on October 20.

A yoga teacher’s life flashes before her eyes during a deadly home invasion, sending her on a desperate race through her past to save the man she loves.

The Conference

Elsewhere, fans are about to see a different Katie Winter, best known as Little Nina in the hit Amazon Original series The Boys, in The Conference. However, this film will not only make you afraid but will also try to make you laugh with its comedy slasher genre. A team-building conference for municipal employees is about to take place here, but things are about to change when a mysterious figure starts to kill the participants. Netflix will drop The Conference on October 13.

A team-building conference for municipal employees turns into a nightmare when accusations of corruption begin to circulate and plague the work environment. At the same time, a mysterious figure begins murdering the participants.
