The fall season will surely be exciting for anime fans. This season is about to release some of the most anticipated titles that will hit the big and small screens, like Spy x Family Season 2, Spy x Family: Code White, Castlevania: Nocturne, and the newly announced Netflix anime adaptation of Onimusha, among many others. So, read on to know more about the fall anime 2023 lineup, from the movies, series, and new seasons.

The fall season runs from October to December, so fans are about to see new releases between these months, a great gift for the coming holidays for anime lovers. The industry produces anime by following a four-season schedule: winter (January to March), spring (April to June), summer (July to September), and fall. And by the looks of it, this will be the best season for anime.

To top it off, the anime adaptation of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is about to come. Based on Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe’s manga, this will be the first time this series will be animated. With its manga’s success, with over 10 million copies in circulation, a lot have been waiting to see this on the small screens.

There’s also Spy x Family Season 2, continuing the epic journey of the Forger family as Loid takes on a new mission with his strange but fun wife, Yor, and daughter, Anya. Of course, it also includes their beloved dog, Bond.

In addition, the story between the vampire and vampire hunter prodigy, Richter Belmont, the descendant of Trevor and Sypha, will begin in Castlevania: Nocturne. The story of the classic franchise is back, set during the French Revolution, where Richter will pair up with a group of misfits to stop the apocalypse with the coming of the so-called vampire messiah.

And as Netflix continuously expands its anime features, it adds another epic adaptation of Onimusha. The cult classic Capcom video game series will see its animated iteration. Here, the lead, Miyamoto Musashi, will go on a mission to face the demons and save the town with his mythical Oni Gauntlet.
