There’s a new threat coming to the world of heroes and villains in My Hero Academia The Movie: You’re Next. The anime film dropped its second trailer and a new visual over the weekend and introduced the main villain, Dark Might. A doppelganger of the former No. 1 Pro Hero All Might, he may use the likeness of the world’s Symbol of Peace to take down hero society. With that being said, the character’s voice actor, Kenta Miyake, asks fans to prepare for Dark Might’s impact.

Just like All Might, Dark Might will also be voiced by Miyake in My Hero Academia The Movie: You’re Next, the fourth film in the franchise’s movie series. After the anime’s official website announced Miyake’s new role in the movie, the Japanese narrator himself released a statement to talk about his character and warn fans about this mysterious villain.

“This time around, I found myself unexpectedly in charge of the voice of two roles,” he said. “For this new role, he is a villain, and his name is Dark Might.”

Though the 46-year-old found it challenging to voice two characters, he wouldn’t have it any other way. Playing two different Toshinori Yagi gives him a new perspective by seeing his hero and villain’s sides. Hence, just like fans, he's also excited about it.

“I'm excited about it,” he continued. “Please come and experience the impact of the mysterious villain Dark Might in theaters.”

Who is Dark Might in My Hero Academia The Movie: You’re Next?

Details about Dark Might’s personality remain a mystery as My Hero Academia The Movie: You’re Next has yet to reveal who this mysterious villain is. However, the film’s trailer is enough to show how sinister he can be. He poses a great threat to the heroes, especially Deku, and he’s not easy to defeat. With his alleged obsession with All Might, he seemingly possesses the same powers as the former No. 1 Pro Hero.

By the looks of it, he will do his best to end hero society for good by using his similarities with All Might as his leverage. However, Deku will never let this happen, and with the help of his fellow heroes, they will unveil the mystery surrounding Dark Might and eventually put him down.
