My Hero Academia Season 7 is finally shaping up. Little details about the much-awaited new season are now emerging, and the anime recently announced that Japanese singer-songwriter Toru Kitajima, aka TK from Ling Tosite Sigure, would perform the opening theme, which title is yet to be revealed, at the Ani-Rock Fes. 2024 My Hero Academia Plus Ultra Live concert. Following the announcement, the Japanese musician discussed his big plans for this new soundtrack.

The anime’s website revealed TK’s comments about his part in the upcoming My Hero Academia Season 7. He said he was thinking about what music he could make for the anime series. Despite his success in the music scene, he humbly admitted that he had “no personality and talent and was far from being a hero” like Deku and the rest of his squad.

However, thanks to a soap bubble, an idea finally came in, and the song would depict vivid rainbow colors that left its mark on the concrete when it popped up. To tell more about it, the 41-year-old even left fans a big question and said his hopes for this new track.

“Is this battle, which continues while being deprived and even acquiring pain, for oneself or for someone else?” he asked. “May the brightness that shines through the tattered world be engraved with this song.”

What to Expect from My Hero Academia Season 7

The official synopsis for My Hero Academia Season 7 is yet to be released, but it’s expected to continue where the previous season left off. It’s expected to adapt the manga’s Star and Stripe arc, where the U.S. hero of the same name will be introduced. All Might will be asking for the help of the foreign heroes as Tomura Shigaraki’s body transfiguration is nearly complete. However, despite being the U.S.’s No. 1 Pro Hero, Shigaraki will steal Star and Stripe’s quirk that will cause her defeat. The new season may also adapt the U.A. Traitor arc. As Class 1-A prepares for the final fight against All for One, Shigaraki, and the rest of the League of Villains and Paranormal Liberation Front members, a traitor leaks important information to the enemies.

You can read the anime’s main synopsis below:

Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered ‘quirk,’ Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.
