My Hero Academia Season 7 is almost here. Before the much-awaited new season finally begins, the anime has released four special episodes through My Hero Academia: Memories to recap the important events in the previous six seasons. Now that Memories has ended, its finale drops a preview for the impending epic battle between Tomura Shigaraki and Star and Stripe.
The post-credits scene of Memories finale previews the upcoming My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 1, titled In the Nick of Time! A Big-Time Maverick from the West. It starts with Deku talking about the “one” who came to save Japan from the League of Villains and the jailbreakers, while the US Navy fleet can be seen hovering over the skies.
The scene then shifts to Star and Stripe, standing proudly above one of the aircraft while the wind blows her hero cape dramatically. “The number one hero of the United States of America, Star and Stripe,” Deku introduces her. However, before they can land on the ground, Shigaraki appears and it looks like he’s waiting for Cathleen Bate’s arrival.
The two face each other as Star and Stripe declares to start capturing the villains. But Shigaraki has no plans to back down. He readies to unleash his power and prepares for a big fight that is about to unfold. Though he poses a big threat, Star and Stripe is never afraid and gets ready for the war.
What to Expect from My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 1
My Hero Academia Season 6 finale featured the destruction of Japan, forcing All Might to ask for other countries’ help by sending in their heroes to face All for One and Shigaraki together. However, several nations refused the Symbol of Peace’s request, as they also had to keep their defenses strong against their enemies. But despite that, one hero stood up: Star and Stripe.
Hence, in My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 1, the US’s No. 1 Pro Hero will make her way to Japan and bravely face Shigaraki. As the anime’s voice actors, Koki Uchiyama (Shigaraki) and Daiki Yamashita (Deku), earlier described Shigaraki and Star and Stripe’s fight as “incredible and exciting,” fans can expect this battle to be every inch epic.
