Lately, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been experimenting with multiple historic releases. As a part of this, they even announced a first-time binge plan for Echo and took the R-rated show over to Hulu on the very same day as it came to Disney+. Not only this, but the studio also launched two MCU projects on the same day for the first time ever with The Marvels and the finale of Loki Season 2 on Disney+.
Nearly two years after the release of Season 1, Marvel Studios has finally announced the premiere date for its upcoming Disney+ show, What If...? Season 2. Moreover, they also shared a unique release plan for the show’s nine episodes. Season 2 was initially expected to come out in 2022 before it was removed from the line-up and got delayed for 2023, after which it received a couple of more upsetting release updates.
However, What If...? will now officially make a comeback over the holiday season on December 22 and is set to release new episodes on Disney+ on a daily basis as compared to the usual weekly format previously followed by the platform. This schedule means that the Season 2 finale will air on December 30, bringing the nine-episode run to an end.
Not only this but there’s also a holiday episode titled What If... Happy Hogan Saved Christmas? that’ll come out just in time for Christmas Eve. You can see the entire schedule for What If...? Season 2 below:

Season 2 of Marvel’s What If...? Season 2 will once again follow the journey of The Watcher as he guides the audience through the massive multiverse, introducing them to both old and new faces.
