Marvel's Spider-Man 2, one of the most highly-anticipated games releasing this year, is only a few months away, and fans recently got a better look at the game's impressive graphics, which shouldn't come as a surprise since it's being developed by Insomniac Games, who also released Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, one of the best-looking PlayStation 5 games so far.
Insomniac Games recently released a new story trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 featuring Miles Morales, Peter Parker, Mary Jane, Venom, Kraven, and other characters. The latest trailer is loaded with new cinematic footages that tease the game's Venom-centric story and action-packed sequences. Fans also got a preview of how good the face models for various characters look.
Now, James Stevenson, the Director, Community and Marketing at Insomniac Games, has taken it to Twitter (or "X") to tease that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will look even better when it launches this Fall.
He didn't specify how the game will look better, but fans can expect that the developers at Insomniac haven't revealed the the best-looking footages yet. This could just be marketing hype, but it's possible that the visuals in the trailer are not as good as the final version that fans will get to see in the game.
The official pitch of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 reads:
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to release globally on October 20, 2023 for the PlayStation 5. It will cost $69.99. They haven't announced if there are any plans to release the game on PC or when it will be added to PlayStation Plus Premium and PlayStation Plus Extra.
