It was previously revealed that Miles Morales and Peter Parker would return to battle Kraven and Venom in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 game, but only few plot details were revealed. Today, Insomniac Games and Sony have released the first full story trailer for the highly-anticipated PlayStation 5 superhero game — and it’s pretty epic.

Based on what we've seen so far, it looks like Venom will be the final boss of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, but it's likely that the biggest plot reveals of the game are not shown here. The story will clearly focus on the symbiote taking over Peter Parker's body, and it looks like we will see the dark side of Spider-Man as he internally struggles against Venom.
The story trailer also revealed Miles Morales' new haircut, and scenes featuring Kraven, Lizard Man, Mary Jane, and Harry Osborn, whom many speculated to be the main host of Venom in the game.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - Limited Edition PS5 Bundle
Sony has also revealed a limited-edition PlayStation 5 bundle you can purchase alongside the game, which comes with its own unique controller, both featuring Venom consuming Spider-Man's red suit and turning it black.
Below, you can watch the video showcasing the limited-edition PS5 bundle along with the game's official catchphrase: "Be greater. Together."
If you already have the PlayStation 5 console, you can purchase the same console covers and controller separately, but Sony hasn't revealed the prices yet (Previous console covers were priced between $55 and $65 per set.)
The PS5 bundle will be available for preorder starting next Friday, July 28, including the shells for both the disc and digital-only versions of the console. The bundle doesn't include a disc PS5, but rather a digital one, with a code for the digital version of Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to release on October 20, 2023.
