The second season of Loki Season 2 has come to an astounding conclusion and it gave all of the major players a fitting end. Interestingly, even the one character who only appeared in Episode 6 for a few seconds got an ending that led to more questions. So what exactly will happen to Ravonna Renslayer now that she has ended up in the Void?
Renslayer was undoubtedly the most mysterious character in Loki Season 2. After what happened in the first season, the TVA judge went off on a mission that was later revealed to be an attempt to influence the Kang Variant Victor Timely. Renslayer would later realize that He Who Remains had used her to take control of the TVA then erased her memories. Infuriated, she decides to work with Miss Minutes to take back the TVA but their effort is thwarted by Loki and Sylvie.
After being pruned by Brad Wolfe in Episode 4, Renslayer was absent from the next episode. Luckily, fans got a glimpse of her in the Season 2 finale and her brief appearance seemingly teased a possible return in Loki Season 3, if the series gets renewed!
Will Renslayer Return After Loki Season 2?
In the Loki Season 2 finale, Gugu Mbatha-Raw's Renslayer made a significant appearance. Although brief, her scene was crucial, hinting at her transportation to the Void. As she sat up on the ground, a radiant purple light bathed her face, suggesting the return of the Void's ominous resident, the floating cloud monster known as Alioth.
Renslayer's actions, including her attempt to take control of the TVA alongside Miss Minutes after Victor Timely's betrayal, indicate that her villainous character is far from finished with her disruptive plans. However, it is unclear how she will manage to escape the Void or Alioth. Will she find some allies in the pyramid she spotted in the Void? Either way, fans are hoping to see more of Renslayer in the MCU soon.
The second season of Loki only consists of six episodes. All episodes are now available for streaming on Disney+.
