The Outdoor Activities Circle is heading back out into the cold. Laid-Back Camp Season 4 has been announced through the official website of Laid-Back Camp with a main trailer and a new main visual, the biggest update for the cozy camping series since the season was first revealed.
The trailer previews the season's opening theme, performed by returning singer Asaka, over footage of the circle plotting how to recruit new first-year members. Eri Sasaki also returns to perform the ending theme, keeping the musical pairing that has defined the series in place for another season.

A new main visual arrived with the trailer, placing new first-years Ema and Mei at the front of the group around Nadeshiko Kagamihara and Rin Shima. Mount Fuji rises behind them under the visual's tagline, "Can I go with you?"
The announced cast includes:
Yumiri Hanamori as Nadeshiko Kagamihara
Nao Toyama as Rin Shima
Aki Toyosaki as Aoi Inuyama
Sayuri Hara as Chiaki Ogaki
Rie Takahashi as Ena Saito
Ema and Mei, the first-year students introduced in the season's teaser visual earlier this year, step into the spotlight as the circle's newest members. Their arrival gives the five returning girls a fresh dynamic, with the seniors now showing beginners the ropes.
Behind the camera, Shin Tosaka returns to direct at FuRyu Pictures, which takes over animation production from 8-bit. Pierre Sugiura writes the scripts, Akiyuki Tateyama composes the music, and Ryuta Ura joins as the new character designer, replacing Hisanori Hashimoto.
The anime began in 2018 at C-Station, which produced the first two seasons, before 8-bit took over for Season 3. FuRyu Pictures now becomes the third studio to pitch the series' tent.
What is Laid-Back Camp about?
Laid-Back Camp is a slice-of-life comedy manga by Afro, first serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Forward from 2015 to 2019 before moving to the Comic Fuz service. Yen Press publishes the manga in English.
Crunchyroll describes the series as follows:
Nadeshiko, a high school student who had moved from Shizuoka to Yamanashi, decides to see the famous, 1000 yen-bill-featured Mount Fuji. Even though she manages to bike all the way to Motosu, she's forced to turn back because of worsening weather. Unable to set her eyes on her goal, she faints partway to her destination. When she wakes up, it's night, in a place she's never been before, with no way of knowing how to get home. Nadeshiko is saved when she encounters Rin, a girl who is out camping by herself. This outdoorsy girls story begins with this first encounter between Nadeshiko and Rin.
Laid-Back Camp Season 4 premieres in April 2027. The earlier seasons and the Laid-Back Camp Movie are streaming on Crunchyroll.
