The previous episode of Kaiju No. 8 was intense, with Vice Captain Soshiro Hoshina’s fight against the gigantic Kaiju No. 10. But just as the Defense Force members thought they had defeated the monster, a flying Kaiju was about to detonate a massive bomb with the destructive force of a nuclear weapon. As everyone was already exhausted and no one could deal with that big of an explosive, Kafka Hibino took it upon himself and transformed into Kaiju No. 8. As this naturally ended with his capture, the preview for Kaiju No. 8 Episode 11, titled Captured Monster No. 8, shows the appearance of the Defense Force Director General Isao Shinomoya as he confronts Kafka while being in captive.

You can watch the Kaiju No. 8 Episode 11 trailer below:

As released by the anime’s official website, the Kaiju No. 8 Episode 11 trailer begins with Kafka being held prisoner by the Defense Force. With the revelation that he’s a kaiju, Mina Ashiro tells him he must leave the facility.
He marches in front of his former comrades, while Reno Ichikawa declares his belief that Kafka will be back.

Isao then takes the scene as he walks with a group of soldiers wearing gas masks, with some aiming their guns at Kafka. The general stresses that Kafka is a monster and no longer human, while his daughter, Kikoru Shinomiya, reveals that he still wants to believe in Kafka. But amid the threat, Kafka swears that he will return as a member of the Defense Force again.

Alternatively, the Kaiju No. 8 Episode 11 stills begin with a gloomy Kafka as he spends his time in the Defense Force’s prison. Reno and Iharu Furuhashi both look sad after what happened to Kafka. By the looks of it, they aren’t the only ones affected by their fellow member’s captive, as Hoshina seems to reflect on the events of that night.

Kikoru also expresses her sentiments about Kafka’s capture. Mina can’t seem to believe that Kafka is a monster as she captures him herself. In the last still, Isao looks determined to have Kafka detained, appearing furious at knowing that Kafka is Kaiju No. 8.
