It has already been confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will be split into two cours. While the first cour takes place in the past in an important part of Tokyo Jujutsu High School's history, the Shibuya Incident arc happens in the present right after Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki took on two of the Death Painting Wombs. It also continues with "Geto" and Mahito's plans to finally get rid of Gojo in an event that will forge an alliance between cursed spirits and curse users.
