Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is set to return very soon and no one is more excited about it than Kenjiro Tsuda. The Kento Nanami voice actor is hyping up the return of the anime's second season. But why is TsudaKen so excited about the Shibuya Incident story arc?
Kenjiro Tsuda recently made a brief return in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, providing the voice of the young Kento Nanami in two episodes of the first cour. However, fans who have been missing TsudaKen's distinct low voice are already excited to hear him speak all over again the the Shibuya Incident arc later this month.
Not surprisingly, Tsuda is just as excited as everyone about Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2's second cour. He recently retweeted the show's post sharing a new key visual featuring Yuji Itadori. In his tweet, Tsuda couldn't help but hype up the Shibuya Incident arc.
It's interesting to know that Tsuda is excited about the Shibuya Incident arc considering that Nanami goes through a lot in the story arc. We won't spoil any details about the second half of Season 2. However, we will confirm that Nanami is a huge part of the second season for a certain reason.
What Happens in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Shibuya Incident Arc?
The second cour of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will adapt the manga's Shibuya Incident arc which brings us back to the present. In the story arc, Satoru Gojo works with his students to locate the mole that allowed Mahito to infiltrate Tokyo Jujutsu High School and steal several important cursed items including Sukuna's fingers. From there, we finally get to learn more about what "Suguru Geto" is planning to do about his former best friend.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6 is titled That Is How It Is ("Sou-iu koto") and will serve as the first episode of the Shibuya Incident arc. It will premiere on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
