Star Wars actor Ahmed Best has teased his potential return to the franchise, seemingly hinting that he will return to reprise his role from the Prequel Trilogy as Jar Jar Binks. After his return in The Mandalorian Season 3 as Order 66 survivor Kelleran Beq, the 50-year-old actor is clearly not done with a galaxy far, far away after he confirmed another return in an upcoming Star Wars project.

Best recently took it to Instagram to confirm that he's back in the motion capture studio, and based on the caption of the photo, it looks like he's working on a Star Wars game with Activision. And the part that Activision is involved is important as this rules out being anything related to LEGO Star Wars, which WB Games is in charge of.

As you can see below, his Instagram photo shows Best in his motion capture gear inside a motion capture studio, and the caption reads: "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in." along with the hashtags: #mocap #starwars #jarjarbinks #activision #jedi #sithlord and #kelleranbeq. The Actiivision hashtag suggest that he is working on a videogame with the videogame publisher.

Is Ahmed Best returning for a Star Wars game?

Since Activision appears to be involved, the answer is most likely "Yes", but it's still not clear for what game Best is doing motion capture work for. At the time of this writing, there has been no announced Star Wars game from Activision. It's also possible that Ahmed's work could be related to Call of Duty: Warzone, so a Jar Jar Binks Warzone skin would be something that Call of Duty fans can look forward to, but could upset gamers hoping for a new Star Wars game from Activision.

It's also worth nothing that two of the hashtags, "#jarjarbinks" and "#sithlord" he included are likely jabs towards the hilarious Darth Jar Jar theory, which claims that Jar Jar's clumsy and silly personality are just an act as a cover-up to his true identity: a Sith apprentice who wanted to infiltrate the Republic.
