Last year, the working version of GTA 6 was leaked online, unveiling a large amount of footage and details about the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game. Since it was only the game’s alpha build, the footage was clearly from a pretty early development stage and is far from the actual footage that will be featured in GTA 6 once it officially releases. However, it was enough to calm the GTA fans down and give them a look at what they might expect in the upcoming much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 game.
Unfortunately, Rockstar Games did act quickly and took down most of the leaks and erased their traces. The good news is that some of the footage that was deleted last year by the developers has once again been making its rounds on the internet lately and hasn’t been removed yet. The footage was leaked on Twitter by @RockstarGTAVl and offers a glimpse at GTA 6’s story as well as a nightclub in the game.

In the footage, we can see the male protagonist walking around the busy nightclub and can hear the conversations of the NPCs. Once again, it’s an early build, which is why the graphics look so rough and unclear, but it will be much better once it ends up being added in the final version of GTA 6. The NPCs were one of the most exciting parts of this footage, as they can be seen walking around the nightclub and talking to each other.
Even though the dialogue shared among them might be added to the main story, it seems like that’s simply how they talk to each other in the open world. Considering how massive the open world is, as per the rumors, introducing plenty of NPCs with multiple purposes who interact with each other will really help enhance the gaming experience in Grand Theft Auto 6.
Currently, the tweet hyperlinked above has not been removed by either Take-Two Interactive or Rockstar Games, but that might change by the time you view this. Even if it does end up getting removed, we hope the footage turns out to be real.
Currently, no release date has been officially announced for GTA 6 yet by Rockstar Games, but Take-Two did hint at a 2024 to 2025 release date. The rest of the information we have received so far is also from leaks and rumors since the developers are pretty good at keeping the upcoming installment in the GTA series a mystery.
