Since GTA 6’s first trailer came out last month, fans have taken it apart frame by frame to get any new information they might have missed. Through this, we discovered that the trailer features multiple real-life events and came up with theories like the balcony girl in the bikini who might be the game’s character in disguise. Not only this, but we also saw the ankle monitor on Lucia, which might have suggested that the game could possibly limit early-game exploration.
However, now that the main information has been picked clean from the trailer, fans are focusing on more strange discoveries while they wait for another official GTA 6 look. Initially reported by PC Gamer, one particular fan called Ficerc recently found more details on the SPF sunscreen that’s being used by an NPC on the beach during the first 20 seconds of the trailer.
The post was posted to the GTA subreddit and was a massive one, complete with graphs and mathematical equations. Ficerc initially talked about the skin tone of the woman using the sunscreen since the person's color is the main component that determines the SPF sunscreen they need for protection. For this, they brought up the Fitzpatrick Skin Score table and found a series of equations that would fit in an information table about SPF by the sunscreen brand Banana Boat.
Once the woman’s skin tone was known, the user then began figuring out what time of day it was in the trailer since the length of time one spends in the sun is the main determinant behind the strength of the sunscreen that’s required. To figure that out, Ficern used the length and location of the shadows that the NPCs on the beach are casting, alongside the map of the actual Miami Beach and a sun path diagram to determine the sun’s location.
They eventually found out about the sun’s setting and also figured out the sun’s angle with trigonometry. They cross-referenced these details with a sun path diagram and the average UV dosage of the sun at specific times to figure out the SPF sunscreen that the lady on the beach is using, which is 8-14 SPF.
When might the GTA 6 Trailer 2 come out?
Ever since the first trailer for GTA 6 came out, the internet has gone into mayhem, and everyone has been trying to analyze the trailer for as many hints and clues as they can. It has even gotten to the point that people have even figured out what sunscreen was used in the trailer. Since the first trailer for GTA 6 was so good, fans have been speculating about when Rockstar Games might release the second trailer.
Many people, including Reddit user 27guy, have looked at the bullet holes in the car in the first trailer to find the answer to this question. They claimed that the bullet holes on the car are an indication of when the next trailer will come out. Considering this theory is true, the next trailer for GTA 6 will allegedly come out in September 2024. However, this is just speculation, and nothing has been confirmed yet.
