Jujutsu Kaisen has crossed over into Fortnite, and players are already taking advantage of their new opportunity to control the world's strongest sorcerer. So, it's no surprise that people are making Satoru Gojo do the crazy dances that the video game is known for. The biggest hit so far? Gojo dancing to Run BTS, the infectious hit song by South Korean supergroup BTS.
Run BTS is a beloved theme for BTS and their fans known as ARMY. It shares its title with the group's variety web series, where the members take on various challenges for cool (and sometimes unusual) prizes. The song was also featured in BTS' 2022 album Proof and has its own dance routine that showcases the group's energetic style. With that in mind, the dance moves are a perfect addition to Fortnite.
It was recently confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen characters are joining Fortnite, and players quickly latched on to fan-favorite Gojo. His arrival in the video game was followed by the sorcerer going viral on X (formerly Twitter) by dancing to BTS' Run BTS.
We love this new trend since it's one that proves the sheer power of the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom as well as ARMY, who are known for supporting BTS with all their hearts. It also helps that Gojo looks so good dancing to Run BTS, and people are already calling him the eighth member of BTS, a true compliment that many people agreed with. Needless to say, this is one video we will be rewatching over and over again.
Satoru Gojo is set to return in the second cour of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 later this month. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6 is titled It's Like That ("So iu Koto") and is set to kickstart the action in the Shibuya Incident arc. The anime will be back on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
