MCU’s Fantastic Four has become a hot topic as of late, with everyone eager to know who will be cast in the movie. Even though the cast hasn’t been properly established and revealed yet, rumors are going around, claiming that a member of the family of superheroes will be the story’s main character. This character is Sue Storm, also known as The Invisible Woman.

According to a rumor from reputable leaker/scooper, DanielRPK, Sue Storm will be serving as the lead character in Fantastic Four. As per initial reports, the main focus of Marvel Studios was to search for someone who would perfectly play the character, after which they would build the entire team around her character. However, note that these are considered rumors as they haven’t been officially confirmed by Disney or Marvel.

Although Sue Storm might be Fantastic Four’s main protagonist, we still aren’t sure who will sign up for the role of The Invisible Woman. It was reported that Margot Robbie, famous for the success of her movie Barbie, turned down the role after it was offered to her for reasons that are quite unknown.

Following this news, some insiders also claimed that Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One actress was also offered the role of The Invisible Woman. In addition, some previous rumors claimed that Marvel Studios was planning on casting a “Dakota Johnson” type for the role. However, these rumors were never really verified.

Reed Richards Becomes a Part of the Fantastic Four Team

Multiple rumors and speculations have been going around concerning the casting process of Fantastic Four. One famous rumor is that Adam Driver was supposed to play Reed Richards, but unfortunately, he dropped out of that conversation. Some other popular picks to play the role include Penn Badgley and Dev Patel.

Initially, plenty of fans were confused regarding these reports since John Krasinski has already played Mr. Fantastic once in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Unfortunately, not much information has been shared on the development of Fantastic Four. However, we do know that WandaVision director and producer Matt Shakman will also be directing this MCU movie.

Shakman shared his excitement about Fantastic Four and further said that he gave up a chance to work on Star Trek 4 with J.J. Abrams for this movie. The filmmaker said,  "Movies have different journeys and momentums and schedules are a little bit mercurial, and so when the Fantastic Four opportunity came up, it was just too hard to pass up and to go back home to Marvel, a place that I worked on WandaVision at, with those people who are wonderful collaborators.” Sadly, we’ll have to wait quite sometime before the movie releases.
