It's no secret that Vanessa Kirby is a talented actress who chooses truly interesting roles. She rose to international fame after playing Princess Margaret in The Crown. However, Kirby also proved she could be an action star with roles in the Fast and Furious spin-off film and Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning, Part One.
So what's the next big project for Kirby? A new report suggests she could be the new Invisible Woman.
According to insider Daniel Richtman, Marvel Studios has already offered the role of Sue Storm to Kirby. If the negotiations go well, the Frankenstein Chronicles actor will play the character in the planned Fantastic 4 film.
For now, it is important to remember that Marvel Studios has not yet confirmed that there are negotiations to cast Vanessa Kirby in the upcoming series. However, there is a huge chance that there will be an update on the casting in the next few weeks.
The Fantastic Four reboot was originally set to be directed by Spider-Man director Jon Watts. However, Watts departed the project and was later replaced by WandaVision's Matt Shakman.
Although the project already has a director (and a revolving door of writers), the four main characters have not yet been cast. The reboot will follow Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing as the iconic comic book team.
In the meantime, Vanessa Kirby will reprise her role as Alanna Mitsopolis aka White Widow in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, which premieres on July 12, 2023.
