Laios and his party members, Senshi, Chilchuck, and Marcille, continuously fight different monsters as they go deep into the dungeon to find the red dragon and save Falin. However, in the upcoming Delicious in Dungeon Episode 7, titled Aquatic Horse/Rice Porridge/Kabayaki, Senshi wants them to use a kelpie, a mythical creature, instead of magic to cross the lake. The preview for the new episode shows Senshi and Laios in a debate, as the latter strongly objects to his suggestion.

The Delicious in Dungeon Episode 7 preview shows Laios and his group planning to cross the lake. As they start debating how they will do so, Senshi insists that he won’t do it if they’re using magic. However, it looks like the dwarf warrior has no choice and follows Laios’ order. But as Laios pushes him to the water, he slowly sinks and is quickly saved by the party’s leader and Chilchuck.
Alternatively, the preview stills reveal the group's different reactions as they decide how to get to the other side of the lake. It first gives a glimpse of Kabru and his party, hinting at their return, probably in a flashback after what happened to them in the fifth episode. It’s followed by a look at Senshi and Marcille together, as the latter seemingly convinces the group’s cook to cross the water using magic.
A gloomy-looking Marcille is revealed, while Senshi is already soaking wet after following their request. Chilchuck then tries to attack Laios, who appears surprised and afraid of the locksmith’s move. Amid the commotion, Marcille successfully floats in the water, but a huge monster appears before Laios, Senshi, and Chilchuck. For the last still, a determined-looking Laios pops up.

Delicious in Dungeon Episode 7 will see Laios and his party arriving at the fourth floor and are welcomed by a huge lake. But to cross the water, they have to use magic to walk on it. However, Senshi refuses and instead suggests riding a water horse. But Laios objects, seeing the danger of using a kelpie.

The anime is based on the manga of the same title by Ryoku Kui. The manga ran from February 2014 to September 2023 in Enterbrain’s seinen magazine, Harta, and was licensed by Yen Press in English in North America. It was then adapted into anime by Trigger and premiered in January 2024, releasing six episodes so far.
