Mashle: Magic and Muscles - The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc (Season 2) officially started airing earlier this month, and five episodes have been released so far. Now, the official website of the anime has shared preview stills and official synopsis for Episode 18 (Season 2, Episode 6), which is scheduled to premiere on February 17, 2024. The next episode teases Mash Burnedead's unexpected encounter with someone in the waiting room before the final exam begins.

The rough English translation of the title of Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2 Episode 6 is Mash Burnedead and You Look, You Lose Your Life.

The official synopsis for Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2 Episode 6 reads:

Mash rushes to Finn, who desperately fights against Carpaccio without abandoning his friends. Mash completely defeats Carpaccio, who was thought to be invincible by nullifying his wounds by being chosen as the "Oldest Thirteen Wands'' (Master Cain), which is said to have 13 in the wizarding world. On the other hand, Margaret defeated Carpaccio and two other members of the same team by a landslide, and with that the exam was over. And just before the final exam, who came to Mash and the others in the waiting room...?!

What is Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2 about?

Mashle: Magic and Muscles anime is based on Hajime Komoto's Mashle manga series, which has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from January 2020 and recently ended in July 2023. The shonen series has a total of 162 chapters, and there are currently 16 volumes to date. Season 2 is adapting the Divine Visionary Selection Exam Arc, which is the fourth arc of the manga that picks up at Chapter 44. A-1 Pictures is animating the new season.

The arc is expected to introduce the 'Prefect' system of Easton Magic Academy, and it's expected to center on the Divine Visionary Selection Exam, which is used to find the student that will become the newest member of the Divine Visionaries. The title of Divine Missionary is given to an exceptional student amongst one of the 3 magic schools, revered as one of God's chosen once every year. As the core of Bureau of Magic, they are considered to be some of the most influential sorcerers of the country.
