Delicious in Dungeon Episode 2 Preview Shows Laios and His Party Facing the Monster Basilisk

After Laios has formed his party again with Marcille and Chilchuk and the new addition Senshi, the group is ready to take over the dungeon to rescue Falin. The four started their journey and cooking skills in the premiere episode, leaving a promising start for the new anime. To give fans a glimpse of what will happen next, the anime has released new preview stills for the upcoming Delicious in Dungeon Episode 2, titled Roast Basilisk/Omelet/Kakiage, as the team is about to face the monster basilisk.

The Delicious in Dungeon Episode 2 preview begins with Laiois and an image of a monster, which he seems to liken every part to different animals so that they can turn it into food. Doni and Fionil are then seen running away from a huge monster chasing them, while they next appear with a surprised Marcille. The next one features the elven mage holding her book while seemingly having an idea of what to do next.

She then reads her book while Laios, Chilchuk, and Senshi patiently wait behind her. Chilchuk appears in danger in the following still as he covers his head from the falling spears while running inside the dungeon. Senshi is seen deep in thoughts, while Chilchuk looks angry and sweating in the last preview.

What to Expect from Delicious in Dungeon Episode 2?

After an introductory episode, the real adventure is about to begin in Delicious in Dungeon Episode 2. Here, Senshi will tell his party the importance of having a nutritionally balanced diet while they explore the dungeon. They will then eye to attack a monster Basilisk with a chicken's body and a snake's tail to have its eggs and meat. However, as they continue their journey, they find a basilisk that attacks the adventurers. Thankfully, Laios knows how to fight off this enemy.

Senshi insists that a nutritionally balanced diet is important when exploring a labyrinth. Laios and his friends target the monster Basilisk, which has the body of a chicken and the tail of a snake, in order to obtain nutritious eggs and meat. While exploring, they encounter a basilisk that attacks fledgling adventurers, but Raios, who is well-versed in the ecology of monsters, uses a secret technique.

 

The anime is based on the manga series of the same name by Ryoko Kui. It was serialized from February 2014 to September 2023 in Enterbrain's seinen manga magazine Harta and was published in English in North America by Yen Press. It was then adapted into anime by studio Trigger and premiered on January 4.
